Waterfall8:00 AM – Pick-up from Negombo
Start your journey from your Colombo hotel and travel towards Ella. Enjoy the changing views as you leave the city and travel towards the beautiful hill country.
10:00 AM – Service Area Stop
Take a 30-minute break at a service area. Refresh, use the washroom, and buy any snacks or things you may need for your trip.
10:30 AM – Continue Journey
Continue your journey towards Ella and enjoy the changing scenery along the way.
12:30 PM – Exit Highway
Leave the highway and enjoy the beautiful paddy fields and countryside views. Feel free to ask your driver to stop for landscape photos.
1:30 PM – Ravana Waterfall
Stop at the famous Ravana Waterfall and enjoy the view of the water flowing down the rocky hillside. Take some photos and enjoy the natural surroundings.
2:30 PM – Drop-off in Ella
Arrive at your Ella hotel and complete your scenic journey.
Bring sunglasses and sunscreen for sunny days.
Pack a rain jacket or umbrella – weather can change during the journey.
Carry a small day bag with your essentials. Your main luggage can remain safely in the vehicle.
A power bank can be useful for keeping your phone charged.
Wet tissues are handy to have during the journey.
Flexible journey: Take your time, skip any activity you don’t wish to do, or ask your chauffeur to add a stop along the way.
