Pilgrim8:30 AM – Pick-up from Kandy Hotel
Start your journey from your Kandy hotel and travel towards Anuradhapura. Enjoy the green hills and changing countryside views along the way.
10:30 AM – Dambulla Cave Temple & Golden Buddha Statue
Visit the famous Dambulla Cave Temple and see its old Buddha statues and colourful paintings. Also, see the large Golden Buddha Statue. Spend around 2 hours exploring this special place.
12:30 PM – Lunch Break
Stop at a local restaurant for lunch. Enjoy a tasty Sri Lankan meal and take a short rest.
2:00 PM – Aukana Raja Maha Viharaya & Kala Wewa
Visit the peaceful Aukana Raja Maha Viharaya and see the famous Aukana Buddha Statue. Then, enjoy the beautiful views of Kala Wewa, an ancient reservoir surrounded by nature.
3:45 PM – Drop-off in Anuradhapura
