4:30 AM – Hotel Pick-Up
Early morning pick-up from your accommodation.
5:00 AM – Arrive at Pidurangala Temple Base
Begin your hike with a torch in hand and a short temple visit.
5:30 AM – Reach the Summit
Arrive at the top in time to witness a spectacular sunrise over the misty Sigiriya Rock and surrounding forest.
6:30 AM – Descent & Return
Hike back down and return to your hotel for breakfast.
Sunset Option
4:00 PM – Hotel Pick-Up
Late afternoon transfer to the base of Pidurangala.
4:30 PM – Begin the Ascent
Climb the rocky path and pass the reclining Buddha statue on the way up.
5:30 PM – Enjoy the Sunset
Capture incredible panoramic views as the sun dips below the horizon.
6:30 PM – Return to Base & Hotel
Descend carefully and transfer back to your hotel.
Wear hiking shoes or sturdy sandals with a grip
Bring a flashlight or headlamp (provided for sunrise)
Wear light clothing, but cover your shoulders for the temple area
